Scrappin Mondaze

This is my entry for this week's Scrappin Mandaze. I haven't posted scraps for about two weeks (sorry Z!). Things have just been so busy. Heck I didn't have time for myself for the last several weeks (and I even sometimes forget to text EMA... teehee).

Well anyway, this week's subject is my long time friendship with another blogger (Lurchie). We have been friends since I can remember. The photo in this LO was taken during our Early Childhood School (preschool) graduation. And as you can see, we even have similar dresses! teehee..

Oh well, here's to a history of friendship and many more years of shared laughters and tears.

thoughts on a warm summer day...

>> Saturday, March 28

I haven’t been posting lately huh? Teehee.. Blame it on my workload not to mention the stuff I have to do at home, and mostly on the fact that I’m just too lazy busy to put my thoughts together these days. Sheesh! I’m becoming a workaholic. I never thought I could be one. This goes to show how much I enjoy my life these days not minding the loads of things that need to be done.

Anyway, the world is just so hot today. Summer is definitely here. I like summer, but I love the rainy days. What I like about summer before is that I could take a break from classes and just laze around the house. If only there’s a summer break at work... teehee

On another note, there’s a scheduled brown out today in my area. This is one of the things Dumaguete is known for – whole day brown outs. But thankfully we still have electricity here in the campus (Yeah! Lucky us!). Maybe Dumaguete is supporting Earth Hour by scheduling a whole day brown out?! Hehe well who knows?! I’m still going to turn off the lights and all the other appliances for an hour tonight though. Well maybe not all, can I just turn on the electric fan? It’s just so hot! :D

Oh oh oh, I just realized that bloggie is turning two years! To think I only created this blog out of sheer curiosity and so just so I could vent out my frustrations about work in prison camp. Teehee.. And thanks to Lurchie for badgering me to try out the blogger world.

Happy Anniversary Shenzee’s World, we finally made it to two years!

Definitions.. and then some.. :)

>> Sunday, March 15

I saw this one in Facebook, and I just can't help but post it here as well.. Enjoy! :)

Go to and www.urbandictionary.com, type in your answer to each question in the search box, then write the FIRST definition it gives you. I guarantee you're gonna find some pretty hilarious results.

1. Your Name: Ayshen

Ayshen isn't defined yet.

* of course it's not! :P

2. Age: 24

24, The Jack Bauer Power Hour. The most entertainment you can stuff into a single day. Full of twists, turns, violence, and Elisha Cuthbert.

3. One of your friends: Lorselle

Lorselle isn't defined yet.

4. What you should be doing: resting

To slack off from any responsibility and veg for an undetermined amount of time.

* amen!

5. Favorite color: blue

The hue of the portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo, evoked in a human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 420 to 490 nanometers.

6. Favorite number: 3

a number coming after 2, but not overshadowing it. Also a number coming directly before 4 but refussing ro be bullied or made feel less than by it. Strong number, yet emotionally sensative. In other words a number that knows its place.

7. Month of your birthday: May

May is the month where teachers think that they can control a classroom but really nothing gets done and no one cares about their grades anymore. usually this happens because summer break is only 30 days away

* May is summertime here in my world.. :)

8. Last person you talked to: Earl

Throw-up, Puking, Puke, Slang for Throwing up

9. One of your nicknames: Shen

It's been a while since I last posted a conversation from dNeero. I like dNeero because they actually pay you to when you join in their surveys and post it in your blog. Unlike all the other "paid" surveys.. Well anyway, allow me to post this conversation..

Scrappin Mondaze

That time of the week again when I'm forced reminded by Z to make a LO for Scrappin Mandaze. Good friend that I am, I happily try my best to make a presentable scrap. :)

Anywho, this week my subject would be my BIG brother, Abe. He saw me the other week making a scrap for my niece, Nica. He wanted me to make one for him too (gah! not another dictator in my life! teehee..). He's into outdoor stuff, and every 3 months or so he and his friends go around Negros and go canoeing, hiking or something like that. Their next trip would be next month in Bohol. I wonder how that will turn out (just as long as I get my pasalubong!).

Anyway, I wanted to make a LO that is not too "girly". But I'm in a hurry and this is the best I can do.. teehee

Anxiety Attack

>> Thursday, March 5

This has been a pretty hectic week for me (and its not over yet!). I couldn’t even sleep well at night just because I keep thinking of the things I need to do.

Sleepless nights started last Saturday when my dog Odie gave birth. I know I shouldn’t have to but I keep checking her and her puppies if they are doing well. Odie’s my first female dog (and I know I keep on spoiling her.. teehee) and dealing with dog pregnancy and giving birth is a first for me.

Another reason is that I had to prepare training documents for my new assistant. Her training was supposed to start last Tuesday, but she asked if she could start on Thursday instead. Lucky for me! Now I have more time to prepare. :D But unfortunately this means I still have loads of work to do.

Aside from that I have to go somewhere to process some “papers” this Friday and I’m not sure how to fix my schedule. Plus, I have to be back by Saturday so I can work again. It's not a forced overtime, mind you, I just want to get things done.

This would be a first when I’ll wish for more minutes in a hour, or more hours in a day, or more days in a week. Eeeepp! Now I’m starting to sound like Lurchie (she’s supposed to be the busy workaholic one, NOT ME?!). There just not enough time to do the things I have to do!

Scrappin Mondaze

My entry for this week’s Scrappin Mandaze is about my dog Odie. She just gave birth two four beautiful puppies last Saturday. I was up all night just to see through Odie’s delivery. Thankfully, there were no complications. I was both excited and scared since this was Odie’s first pregnancy (and hopefully the last). She wasn’t supposed to get pregnant. I even had her take birth control pills (woot!) . Well anyway, I guess she was meant to have these puppies..

So, this is my entry for this week. Enjoy!
