Facts about sHeNzEe

1. I resigned from my 2-year job as a copyeditor months ago. And I have no regrets whatsoever on that decision. hehe

2. I'm working now though... something I should have done right after I resigned from my previous job. I don't have to go outside our home though to get to work... This maybe is the biggest advantage I ever have. :)

3. I know how to cook! :) Most of my friends probably don't know that. I learned how to cook about a year ago.. and well I'm proud to say I'm getting better and better each day.. heheh

4. I sometimes write poetry... Just for fun! And I think its my way of expressing my thoughts and feelings and all that stuff...

5. I'm beginning to love blogging.. I had my apprehensions before, thinking I'll just grow tired of this.. but honestly.. I'm not! :)

6. I like to play online games, PC games, whatever games I can get my hands on. I even broked my phone's joystick just because of playing... heheh started playing these games when I was about 8 years old. I played my first online game back in high school.

7. I'm engaged! hehehehe ehemm... not! :D I know some of my friends are dying for me to get hitched.. maybe I am.. maybe I'm not... ;)

Yesterday's scare, Today's News

Ok so I'm gonna make this quick 'cause I still truckloads of work to do.. Anyway, Lurchie and I went to the SUMC yesterday to visit our friend's sister who just gave birth to a healthy baby boy (Congrats Micai!). So.. we just walked in going there to get some exercise (plus motorcab fare is just so expensive!). When we were in front of the hospital, something made me look up..to our ultimate horror, a room on the third floor was on fire!! Don't believe me? Here's a pic I took!



Lurchie immediately called Xsis (that's our friend whose sis just gave birth) to tell her to get out 'cause there's a fire. Her reaction?! "Sagad! wla oi!" She didn't believe us (hmph!). I think the fire started somewhere in the Air Condition, some electricity stuff.. I'm not sure of the details..

Thankfully it was put out right away! And nobody got hurt. Oh wait that's wrong (somehow a fireman fell down or something and was brought to the ER). shesh! Hope nothing serious...

Hmmm.. my title sounds like "My way", that song by Frank Sinatra. Anyway, (hey that rhymes too!) I decided to do this meme from Zr. It's about birthdays and stuff.. Well I already celebrated my birthday two months ago, spent it with family and friends. Sadly E.M.A. wasn't there on my birthday 'cause he had to work... sniff sniff...

SO! Here are the instructions for this tag...

INSTRUCTIONS:

Well my birthday falls on the 15th of May so I get to wish for 6 materials gifts! hmmm... let me think.. my list will be on no particular order whatsoever.. :)

1. My own house! Yeah! Whoever wished for something else right? I don't know the exact details of my dream house. I don't really want a huge house just a medium size house, with a big lawn. :) Maybe a bit like this one...

2. My own car! I don't know how to drive, though. But I want my own car!!! :)

4. I want a Beagle, a Golden Retriever, and a Rottweiler! (I don't think those are materials things but I want those!!!)


5. A home theater in my own house.. Kinda like this one! hehehe (hey I can dream can I?!) hmmm maybe its hard to fit home theaters like this one on my own dream house (shown above)...


6. My dream vacation at Jade Mountain, St. Lucia!!!! ehemm...great for a romantic getaway (*wink*)

Cyber Relationships

So I'm posting another conversation from dNeero. It's about cyber relationships. With the new technologies at hand, everyone grabs every opportunities he/she can get (including relationships..??). Nowadays, we can get a lot of things online - from online relationships, to online shopping, and even online jobs, and so much more. Heck, nowadays my life is based online. Not so much though, but I spend about 15 hours online every day. I know most people spend 24hours online if they could get away with it (take some sleep you guys!!!). :)

Anyway, making friends online is good, could be fun. I made a lot of friends online, and we became friends in real life, while some just stayed online.. :)

Pull the trigger

Crime rates are gradually increasing each year. There so many factors why crimes are increasing. One of these is the economic crisis. It's in man's nature to survive. So when things get tough, some resort to illegal activities just to acquire the basic necessities. It's so sad how things get so complicated these days.

I just joined this conversation at dNeero titled "Pull the trigger." Honestly, I never tried pulling the trigger before. True, my uncles, cousins, and even my brother and father, tried hunting before. I went along a couple of times, but I never had the heart to shoot some helpless bird or any other animal just for a sport. I held a gun but never really had the guts to pull the trigger.
